- 4 eight trips daily between Toronto and Newmarket, covering the distance in a fast hour and a
- 5 Coach bus service between Toronto and Newmarket.
- 6 car trundled down the tracks from Newmarket through Richmond Hill to its southern
- 7 the only high school between Toronto and Newmarket; in the early 1920s it could still claim the
- 8 settlement from Lake Ontario to Newmarket along Yonge Street and to the east
- 9 of Yonge Street, from York to Newmarket, provincial surveyor John Stegman counted
- 10 to carry mail between York and Newmarket. He made two round trips weekly and carried
- 11 stop for the mail stage operating between Newmarket and York. Southbound stages arrived at
