- 16 Newton Tanning Company at Elgin Mills. Located on the sideroad west of
- 17 the west side of Yonge Street north of Elgin Mills. From 1836 to 1843 it was home to the
- 18 Church, Jefferson. Yonge Street north of Elgin Mills supported a number of small settlements in
- 19 area was judged too extensive. Including Elgin Mills within Richmond Hill was considered too
- 20 in Dunbar, Scotland, in 1831 and came to Elgin Mills with his parents eleven years later. He
- 21 took place on Wednesday afternoon last in Elgin Mills. The occasion of this meeting was to give
- 22 for it" north up Yonge Street to Elgin Mills. There they roused the Elgin Mills
